Exec o'sees casting for Touchstone TV's, ABC's pilots.

ABC casting guru Keli Lee has been handed keys to the senior vice president’s office.

Lee, who was most recently VP of casting at ABC Entertainment Television Group, oversees casting for all of Touchstone Television’s and ABC Entertainment’s drama and comedy pilots.

Lee’s recent casting credits include ABC laffer “8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter,” NBC comedy “Scrubs” and Alphabet actioner “Alias.”

Lee also produces, along with ABC Talent Development Programs, the web’s Casting Project Actors Showcase, a diversity program that gives actors a chance to strut their stuff for industry execs. The Alphabet web has cast 19 roles with thesps who have appeared in the showcase.

“Keli’s proven casting instincts have resulted in numerous successes for ABC and Touchstone Television,” said Gene Blythe, exec VP of casting at ABC Entertainment Television Group. “When one adds to that the important and highly effective work she’s done with the Casting Project showcases, it’s clear that this promotion is very well-deserved.”

The New York University grad first joined ABC in 1991 as a New York-based casting assistant. She moved to the west coast in 1995, serving as director of casting at Touchstone TV, Walt Disney Network TV and Buena Vista Prods.

Lee’s other credits include casting one-acts and plays at New York’s Naked Angels Theatre Company for its winter/spring season in 1995.
