Stougaard, Szeles upped to advertising veep posts

Twentieth Century Fox has promoted Peter Stougaard to VP of advertising and Bruce Szeles to VP of audiovisual advertising.

Stougaard joined Fox in 1999 as exec director of advertising and has worked on materials and marketing strategies for “Cast Away,” “Don’t Say a Word,” “Shallow Hal,” “Behind Enemy Lines,” “Moulin Rouge,” “Planet of the Apes” and the upcoming “Minority Report.” He previously worked at DreamWorks Pictures’ consumer products division and on pics “The Prince of Egypt,” “Antz,” “Small Soldiers,” “The Lost World: Jurassic Park II” and “Chicken Run.”

Szeles joined Fox in 1997 as director of audiovisual advertising and has overseen transferring feature films for publicity and ad campaigns, finishing trailers and TV spots for domestic advertising and liaising with the Motion Picture Assn. of America. He has worked on “The Thin Red Line,” “Fight Club,” “Moulin Rouge” and “Minority Report.”

Szeles worked at Warner Bros. from 1992-97 as director of worldwide ad/pub services on such campaigns as “Falling Down,” “Lethal Weapon 3” and “JFK.” He previously worked for Cimarron on campaigns for Fox such as “Home Alone” and “The War of the Roses.”
