The package includes “Columbo,” starring Peter Falk; “Murder, She Wrote,” with Angela Lansbury; “McCloud,” starring Dennis Weaver; and “Kojak,” which starred Telly Savalas.
“Columbo” will debut on Plus this month, with the other series rolling out over the coming seasons.
Plus director of programming Gary Shoefield said, “We look forward to welcoming the new series to the channel, as well as the return of ‘Kojak,’ which is one of the most successful series ever to air on Plus.”
Deal was put together on behalf of the studio by Christine Mason, VP of Universal TV Distribution, who is based in the U.K.
