Rich hitches deal at ABC

Former radio personality pacts with Tollin/Robbins

Hoping to break into television, feature scribe Mike Rich (“Finding Forrester”) has landed a blind script deal with Tollin/Robbins Prods. at ABC.

Rich, a onetime Portland radio personality, has already partnered with Tollin/Robbins’ Mike Tollin on the upcoming Revolution Studios feature “Radio.” Tollin will direct the feature, to star Cuba Gooding Jr. and Ed Harris. Production starts in South Carolina in October.

Partners Tollin and Brian Robbins announced the deal Thursday.

“Working with Mike on ‘Radio’ was an incredible experience, and I am looking forward to collaborating with him again and everyone at Tollin/Robbins,” Rich said.

Rich’s other credits include “The Rookie” and “Miracle.” Rich and Tollin/Robbins (“Smallville,” “Birds of Prey”) are repped by UTA.
