Financing hideouts

WHERE PRODUCERS FIND MONEY

The grid below shows how companies attributed various parts of their current film budgets to money sources for low-, medium-, and high-budget projects. Each respondent had a different mix of financing, so the columns add up to more than 100%. The numbers for each source are an average of the percentages reported by producers who tap that specific source. So, for instance, among the respondents who use subsidies in the low-budget range, an average of 15% of budgets are financed this way.
