RIO DE JANEIRO — Columbia TriStar Intl. Television will launch gamer “Russian Roulette” on No. 3 Brazilian broadcaster TV Record.
CTIT will handle the production of the show, which is tentatively due to bow in September in a once-a-week primetime slot.
Prize money will reach as high as 500,000 reais ($168,000).
CTIT marketing supervisor Ana Flavia Wakabara told Daily Variety that other projects are under discussion. “We expect ‘Roleta Russa’ to lead to new production deals with local networks,” she added.
