‘Becker’ wins primo Sun. slot

Skein to air at 8 p.m., followed by 'Bram and Alice'

Good news for Ted Danson’s cranky Dr. Becker: CBS has swapped its Sunday night laffers, giving “Becker” the tentpole post-“60 Minutes” slot.

“Becker” will now air at 8 p.m. Sundays, followed by newcomer “Bram and Alice” (the schedule had previously been reversed). As previously announced, Eye also opted to move the season premieres of both shows back a week, to Oct. 6, to make room for the theatrical “Mission Impossible 2” on Sept. 29.

“Becker,” which enters its fifth season this fall, comes from Paramount Network Television, as does “Bram and Alice.” CBS hopes to open up a new comedy block this season by moving “Becker” from its long-running post-“Everybody Loves Raymond” Monday night slot.
