Mudge, Kaplan, Sands and Ryan vice chairs to exec committee
HOLLYWOOD — AFMA’s 2003 board of directors was elected at the organization’s annual membership meeting.
Directors based in the U.K. areCapitol Films’ Jane Barclay, Nicole Mackey of Signpost Films, Michael Ryan of IAC Film & Television and Alison Thompson of Pathe Intl.
Other execs from outside the U.S. are Adriana Chiesa di Palma of Italy’s Adriana Chiesa Enterprises and Charlotte Mickie from Alliance Atlantis in Canada.
Vice chairs elected to the executive committee for a two-year term are Miramax Films’ Rick Sands (general), Ryan (non-California), ECG Worldwide Entertainment’s Barbara Mudge (chair) and Morgan Creek Intl.’s Howard Kaplan (finance).
Newly elected to a one-year term on the board are Barclay, Mickie, Ehud Bleiberg at Dream Entertainment, Talaat Captan of Green Communications, Chiesa Di Palma, Kirk D’Amico of Myriad Pictures and Michael Weiser of Modern Entertainment.
Elected alternates are Mark Lindsay at Miramax Intl. and Nick Meyer at Lions Gate Films Intl.
Re-elected to the board are Mackey, Thompson, Rob Aft, Roger Corman at New Concorde Intl., MDP Worldwide’s Mark Damon, Pierre David of World Intl. Network, Intermedia’s Jere Hausfater, Robert Hayward of Summit Entertainment, Cinetel Films’ Paul Hertzberg, Brad Krevoy of Motion Picture Corp. of America, Nu Image’s Avi Lerner, David Linde at Focus Features and Franchise Pictures’ Andrew Stevens.
Remaining on the executive committee for the second year of their two-year terms are chairman Kathy Morgan of Kathy Morgan Intl., vice chairman and secretary Steve Bickel of Aura Entertainment and vice chair Robert Meyers of Meyers Film Entertainment.
