Sony taps Camara for Spain

Exec replaces departed Conde

LONDON — Sony Music Europe has named Jose Maria Camara president of Sony Music Entertainment, Spain.

Camara, 54, replaces acting managing director Juan Segurado, who had been filling in since the departure of former prexy-MD Claudio Conde. Conde returned to his native Brazil last December.

Camara will report to SME Europe topper Paul Berger. Most recently, he was prexy of BMG imprint Ariola in Spain.

Segurado returns to his previous position of senior VP, finance and administration.
