Lead singer takes time to heal

Creed, one of the most popular rock bands in the U.S., has postponed the May leg of its tour due to singer Scott Stapp being injured in an automobile accident.

The band, whose latest album “Weathered” has sold more than 5 million copies, was scheduled to play 20 dates between Monday and May 31, most of them in the West. Their Los Angeles date, May 19 at Staples Center, has been canceled and tickets are being refunded.
