Campbell exits Ministry of Sound

Exec was to drive international growth

LONDON — Ex-Ginger Media topper David Campbell has ankled his position as vice-chairman of U.K. dance music group Ministry of Sound a mere seven months after taking the job.

Campbell, who came to the outfit as part of a deal in which venture capital group 3i took a 20% stake in the company for $24 million ($34 million), was brought on board to advise on international expansion.

The typically secretive Ministry of Sound gave no reason for Campbell’s departure. He left Ginger in September of last year after the company was taken over by Scottish Media Group.
