UIP Japan’s prexy/chief operating officer Kiri Inomata will ankle at the end of February after 19 years with the company, it was announced on Friday.

“We are indebted to her for her outstanding contributions over the past 19 years,” chairman-CEO Paul Oneile said.

Inomata joined UIP Japan in 1983 as the local film industry’s first female marketing manager. She was promoted to topper in 1996. UIP hopes to announce her successor early next year.
