Archerd to receive Scopus

Industry vet first journo to receive humanitarian kudo

American Friends of the Hebrew University will fete Army Archerd with the 2003 Scopus Award.

Archerd is the first journo to receive the humanitarian kudo, which will be presented Jan. 28 at the BevWilshire.

Past Scopus laureates include Steven Spielberg, Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand, Gregory Peck and Billy Crystal. The last time the nod was handed out was in 2000 when Jack Valenti was the recipient.
