NEW YORK — Peter Bloch has been named general manager of the newly renovated Theater Row complex on 42nd Street.
The building includes five theaters, offices and rehearsal space. It is owned and operated by the 42nd Street Development Corp., which is headed by prexy Fred Papert and CFO Bruce Levine.
Bloch will be responsible for booking shows into the theaters and will handle legal and contractual matters for the theaters and rehearsal spaces.
The 199-seat Acorn, the largest in the complex, will host the MCC Theater production of Neil LaBute’s new play “The Mercy Seat” beginning Nov. 26. The other theaters are the Clurman, Beckett, Kirk and Lion.
