John Leguizamo will bring his Broadway hit “Sexaholix: A Love Story” to HBO this spring.
Leguizamo’s adaptation of his one-man show will debut April 13, marking the thesp’s fourth HBO solo special. Leguizamo previously adapted the stage productions of “Mambo Mouth,” “Spic-O-Rama” and “Freak” for the pay cabler. Marty Callner of Cream Cheese Films will direct the spec. Callner’s previous HBO credits include last year’s Britney Spears special, as well as specials starring ‘N Sync, Marc Anthony, Whitney Houston, Bette Midler, Garth Brooks and Jerry Seinfeld.
