NEW YORK — Broadway grosses continued to climb during Week 39 (Feb. 18-24), notching a 7.8% rise to $12,434,248. Attendance of 205,009 rose by a still stronger 13%.

The roster continue to expand, with a trio of tuners — “Oklahoma!,” “One Mo’ Time” and “Sweet Smell of Success” — and “Metamorphoses” joining “The Crucible” and “The Goat” in previews.

Results for the week varied from show to show, with the regulars split almost evenly between gainers and losers. Some of the big tourist tuners — notably Disney shows “Aida” and “Beauty and the Beast” — took big hits in the wake of the holiday crowds. But other musicals, including “Mamma Mia!” (up $39,354) and “42nd Street” (up $101,321), saw significant upswings.

The 19 musicals grosses $10,300,502 for 82.8% of the Broadway total, with attendance of 164,046 at 92.8% of capacity.

The seven plays grossed $2,133,746 for 17.2% of the Broadway total, with attendance of 40,963 at 87.8% of capacity.

Average ticket prices were $62.79 for musicals, $52.09 for plays and $60.65 for all shows.
