NEW YORK — The road grosses rose during Week 17 (Sept. 16-22). The 15 shows reporting took in $11,326,310, a rise of 7.6% over the previous week.

“42nd Street” continued to wow in Cincy, while “Mamma Mia!” moved from S.F. to L.A., settling in for its second stay in the area, this time at Ahmanson.

“The Producers” grossed north of $1 million for its second week in Pittsburgh, where the show is beginning its first national tour.
