FX studio appoints new chairman

LONDON – Oscar-winning visual FX house The Mill moved up Eryl Morris to non-executive chairman Sept. 18.

Morris had been a non-executive director on the Mill Board since March 2001, following the completion of a management buy-out.

He replaces executive chairman and company founder James Morris who will remain as a non-executive director. He plans to dedicate more of his time as chairman of both Irish broadcaster TV3 and Windmill Lane Pictures in Ireland.

Film director Ridley Scott remains as non-executive co-chairman.
