Circuit plans to add another 15 venues

COPENHAGEN — Sweden’s Digital House, Europe’s first digital cinema circuit, will bow helmer Peter Schildt’s debut “Suxxess” on Oct. 11 simultaneously with the general release by Egmont Columbia TriStar Films.

The circuit has seven digital theaters at smaller venues and plans to add another 15 within the next two years in a pilot project supported by the European Union. The total investment will reach $4.8 million.

The new screens will be fed by mini hard disks mailed by the distributors, but they also have connections to DVD, satellite and broadband.
