Duo to pen script about woman who returns to high school past

Spyglass Entertainment has scooped up the pitch “It Feels Like the First Time,” with Steve and Dan Altiere aboard to write the screenplay.

Spyglass’ VP Meagan Wolpert brought the project into the Disney-based shingle and will oversee its development. Spyglass topper Roger Birnbaum and Gary Barber will produce along with Maverick Films. Spyglass’ Jonathan Glickman will exec produce.

“First Time” centers on a relationship-phobic woman who returns to her high school past to prevent her younger self from losing her virginity to the guy who dumped her on prom night.

The Altiere brothers, repped by Writers & Artists and Jonathan Hung at MBST, are writing “Son of the Mob” for Miramax and previously penned the spec “Meddlers” for Warner Bros.
