A pair of endangered birds halted filming on Armand Assante starrer “Consequence” in Cape Town last week.

A specially created “tropical rain forest” was set up too close to the Knysna reed warblers’ nesting area. Designers of the Motion Picture Corp. of America/Apollo Media/Film Afrika Worldwide thriller were forced to move their “forest” elsewhere.

Directed by Tony Hickox, film is about a dentist who switches identities with his dead brother to start a new life after a botched operation on a model.
