NEW YORK — Jim Keegan, currently chief administrative officer at Lions Gate Entertainment, has added chief financial officer stripes to his title.
Keegan will report to CEO Jon Feltheimer. Current chief financial officer Marni Wieshofer will segue to the newly created position of executive veep of corporate development, reporting directly to Feltheimer, while working with Lions Gate senior management on all strategic initiatives.
In addition to his administrative duties, Keegan will play an expanded role in financial management, planning and forecasting, liaison with banks and other institutions within the financial community.
Keegan has 13 years of experience as an entertainment and media industry chief financial officer — four years at Artisan Entertainment and nine years at Trimark Holdings.
Lions Gate achieved net income of $2.7 million, EBITDA of $5.9 million and revenue of $94.2 million in the first fiscal quarter ended June 30. The company will report second quarter results Nov. 13.
