Script views romantic, cynic's Valentine's Day experience

“Scooby-Doo” star Matthew Lillard and Mosaic Media Group are developing a romantic comedy with tyro scribe Shana Leslie Stern for Signpost Films.

Currently referred to as the “untitled Valentine’s Day pitch,” the script will focus on the trials and tribulations of a romantic and a cynic’s experience surrounding Valentine’s Day.

Mosaic’s Charles Roven and Douglas Segal will produce with Energy Entertainment’s Brooklyn Weaver.

Mosaic development exec Gloria Fan brought the project to the company and will oversee its development.

Lillard, represented by Mosaic division Gold/Miller as well as CAA, is best known for his starring roles in “Scream,” “Thirteen Ghosts” and “Summer Catch.”

Stern, represented by Weaver, is a former assistant to Gary Fleder.
