Kopelsons up Clark

Appointment follows Gross resignation

Arnold and Anne Kopelson’s Paramount-based shingle, Kopelson Entertainment, has upped Sherryl Clark to exec VP of production.

Appointment comes on the heels of Matthew Gross’ resignation as prexy of production. Clark will assume all of Gross’ responsibilities, effective immediately.

Clark joined the shingle four years ago as director of development. “By hard work and great passion for the business,” Arnold Kopelson said, “she has risen to this position. We have had the opportunity to observe her significant ability in both development and production matters. We truly enjoy working with her, and we are proud to have her as part of our team.”

The Kopelsons, who shifted their first-look deal from Fox to Par in early 2001, are in the midst of producing the Philip Kaufman pic, “Blackout,” starring Ashley Judd and Samuel Jackson. Clark is co-producing the pic.
