IDP taps Millard veep

Exec to direct all publicity, marketing campaigns

IDP Distribution has hired R.J. Millard as VP of publicity and marketing. He will direct all publicity and marketing campaigns for IDP, a joint venture established to theatrically market and distribute features for Fireworks Pictures, Samuel Goldwyn Films and Stratosphere Entertainment.

Based in New York, Millard will report to IDP president Michael Silberman. Director of publicity Samantha Levine and director of marketing and promotions Dan Goldberg will report to Millard.

Prior to joining IDP, Millard was press officer and digital media development consultant for the Sundance Film Festival as well as the marketing and publicity director for the Los Angeles Film Festival.

IDP’s upcoming releases include “Das Experiment,” “The Man From Elysian Fields” and “The Believer.”
