Producer Johnnie To’s latest comedy, “My Left Eye Sees Ghosts,” claimed the No. 1 spot at the weekend box office.

The supernatural romantic comedy, produced by To’s Milkway Image and distributed by China Star Entertainment, grossed $461,570 in its first weekend, beating “Minority Report” and “Lilo and Stitch.”

The film stars Sammi Cheng as a widow who survives a car accident and thereafter sees ghosts in her left eye. Pic opened in 64 locations, while the highly anticipated “Minority Report” opened less than two weeks ago at 58.
