‘Cup’ follow-up set

World Brief

Bhutanese director Khyentse Norbu has started shooting “Travelers and Magicians,” the follow-up to his award-winning debut, “The Cup,” and the first pic shot in the tiny Himalayan kingdom.

Like his first movie, latest pic is being handled for worldwide sales by HanWay, the sales arm of Jeremy Thomas’s Recorded Picture Co.

Film follows the journeys of two men and two women on an emotional tour through the heartland of Bhutan. The $2 million budget is financed by private investment. Pic is written and directed by Norbu, and produced by Mal Watson and Raymond Steiner.
