Muhammad Ali will be feted with the Broadcast Film Critics Assn’s inaugural Freedom Award on Friday, during the org’s 7th annual Critics’ Choice Awards.
Bill Maher will emcee the kudocast, which is being held at the BevHills Hotel — E! Entertainment Television will air the ceremony in its entirety on Jan. 14.
Ali, who is the to receive this honor, is being singled out for “illuminating our shared values of freedom, tolerance and democracy.”
