‘Clones’ set for DVD

Extras include Lucas commentary, deleted scenes, docu

Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment will release “Star Wars: Episode II — Attack of the Clones” Nov. 12 on VHS and DVD.

Because “Clones” was filmed on digital cameras, its presentation on DVD will more closely replicate the medium on which it was shot.

The two-disc DVD, available in both anamorphic widescreen (2.35:1) and “full-screen” editions, will feature the film itself, mastered directly from the digital source by THX; audio commentary from George Lucas, editor/sound designer Ben Burtt and visual f/x supervisors Pablo Helman, John Knoll and Ben Snow, among others; eight deleted scenes created for the DVD; and “From Puppets to Pixels,” a new full-length docu tracing the revolution in digital character animation; and numerous other extras.
