The British Short Screenplay Competition is back for the second year and inviting entries by Jan. 10.
Last year, the competition received more than 700 screenplays from around the world. Finalists were judged by a panel including producers Nik Powell, Leslee Udwin and Stephen Woolley and actor Charles Dance. Winner “The Handy Man” by Thomas Beach is in development and will be produced later this year.
Winning screenplay will premiere at BAFTA, be released in selected U.K. cinemas and entered into international film festivals.
