LONDON — The new James Bond pic, “Die Another Day,” will make its world premiere as this year’s Royal Film Performance Nov. 18 in London.
The venue for the gala is yet to be confirmed. It will be attended by either Queen Elizabeth or Prince Charles, with an announcement due in July.
“Ali” screened at the prestigious event last year. Other recent pics screened include “Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas” and “Star Wars: Episode I — The Phantom Menace.”
The Royal Film Performance is the main fund-raising event for the Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund. The charity, founded in 1924, helps people who have worked in any area of the film or TV biz.
