“Charmed” thesp Alyssa Milano is joining David Spade in Paramount’s “Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star.”
She will work concurrently on the pic — her first studio feature role since “Fear” in 1996 — and the WB series, which kicked off production on a fifth season last week.
Sam Weisman is at the helm of the comedy penned by Spade and Fred Wolf. Happy Madison Prods.’ Adam Sandler and Jack Giarraputo are producing.
Pic, lensing in L.A., concerns a former kid star (Spade), washed up in his 30s, who hires a foster family to re-create the childhood he never had. Milano will play his on-again/off-again girlfriend.
Milano is repped by Endeavor and managed by Breakthru Management and Hyler Management.
