Armin Mueller-Stahl will star in “The Dust Factory,” the feature debut of writer-director Eric Small. Erika Lockridge’s Bahr Prods. finances the pic.
“The Dust Factory” is a fantasy drama about a young boy transported into a surreal world where he meets his grandfather (Mueller-Stahl), who teaches him to embrace life’s mysteries.
“The Dust Factory” is the first production for Bahr. Pic also stars Ryan Kelley (“Stolen Summer”) and Hayden Panettiere (“Ally McBeal”) and is shooting in Portland, Ore. Tani Cohen produces.
Mueller-Stahl, repped by the William Morris Agency, is best known for his perfs in “Avalon” and his Oscar-nominated performance in “Shine.”
