One-hour talk to be moderated by Video Premieres editor

CANNES – Filmmaker siblings Anthony and Joe Russo (Directors fortnight entrant “Welcome to Collinwood,” produced by Steven Soderbergh and George Clooney) and documentarians Brett Morgen and Nanette Burstein (official Cannes out-of-competition selection “The Kid Stays in the Picture,” based on the Robert Evans book) will discuss the impact DVD is having on movies, before, during and after production, at the DVD artists panel in the conference room of the Palais de Festivals at 12 noon today.

The one-hour panel, to be moderated by Daily Variety home entertainment editor and Video Premieres magazine editor-in-chief Scott Hettrick, will follow a panel on DVD piracy at 10:30 a.m. with MPAA topper Jack Valenti and video executives David Kessler and Nicolas Seydoux.
