World Brief

Pay TV programmer Claxson will launch its broadband and Internet El Sitio Digital Channel in Spain via an alliance with the technological division of Grupo Terras.

The channel’s content is organized into eight areas, among them adult, which includes clips from Playboy TV and Venus feevees — both part of Claxson’s portfolio in Latin and Ibero America.

Claxson was formed by the merger of Internet company El Sitio and Ibero American Media Partners, the holding company for pay TV programmer Cisneros Television Group.

Spain-based Terras began in cable TV in Chile and Argentina and has since expanded.
