HOLLYWOOD — Chris Floyd has been promoted to senior VP business affairs at Paramount.
Floyd’s responsibilities will continue to include negotiating deals of producers, directors, writers and actors working on Par’s motion pictures and rights acquisitions for Paramount Pictures and Paramount Classics. He will continue to report to Richard Fowkes, senior VP in charge of business affairs.
Before joining Par, Floyd served as VP business affairs for Walt Disney Motion Pictures. He joined Disney in February 1993 as an attorney for legal affairs and was promoted to director of business affairs in March 1996 before being named VP in March 1997.
He received his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center and his bachelor of arts degree from Northwestern University.
