HONG KONG — Entertainment program provider Panorama Intl. Holdings said Monday that it will go public and list on Hong Kong’s Growth Enterprise Market.
Panorama distributes music videos, documentaries, sports shows, cartoons and films throughout Asia and carries more than 1,700 titles in its film library.
Panorama has formed alliances with producers including Canal Plus, HBO, Toei Animation, Aviva and Playboy to distribute programs in VCD and DVD format. Panorama also sub-licenses program rights to cable TV, VOD and web-TV.
Chairman Allan Fung says he expects proceeds from the offering to raise HK$33 million ($4.2 million), to be used — after the deduction of related expenses — for building up its video program library, distribution network expansion, e-commerce business development and additional working capital.
Fung set up Panorama 10 years ago to bring movies to Hong Kong, but expanded his distribution to other parts of Asia.
