Odeon breaks even

Munich-based film production company Odeon broke even for the first time in 2001.

On stable revenues of 45 million euros ($39.5 million), pre-tax profit reached $1.5 million.

Odeon noted that the figure more than met expectations and attributed the good performance to its TV biz, which accounts for 80% of sales. Its feature film biz remains in the red.
