HOLLYWOOD — SAG has promoted longtime guild exec Leslie Krensky to the posts of Florida executive director and South region director.
Move fills the slot left vacant by SAG’s recent promotion of Florida regional exec Hollis Batchelor to the slot of deputy national exec director for education, organizing and branch management.
Krensky will be responsible for the supervision of all guild affairs in Florida and the South region, including Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland.
“Leslie’s knowledge of the guild and her dedication to excellence will enable her to perform the duties of her position with distinction,” Batchelor said. “Her leadership will enhance the guild’s organizing efforts in right-to-work states.”
Krensky began working at SAG nearly 20 years ago as claims representative and was appointed executive administrator in 1987 and then assistant Florida executive director in 1998.
