HOLLYWOOD — Lifetime Entertainment and Hearst Magazines have named Susan Plagemann VP and publisher of Lifetime magazine, a new women’s publication launching in March.
Plagemann, publisher of Hearst-owned Cosmopolitan, will assume the post Monday and will report to Michael Clinton, executive vice president and chief marketing officer-publishing director for Hearst.
Lifetime magazine extends the Lifetime cable channel franchise to the printed page with a mission to entertain, inform and support women. Topics include fashion, beauty, food, decorating, health and news.

Heavy promotion is planned via the Lifetime networks (Lifetime, Lifetime Movies and Lifetime Real Women) and other Hearst publications including Country Living, Good Housekeeping and O, the Oprah Magazine.
