Creative Artists Agency has signed top-prize-winning Sundance and Berlin Intl. Film Festival writer-directors Rebecca Miller and Paul Greengrass.
Miller’s “Personal Velocity,” based on three characters from her collection of short stories, won this year’s Sundance Grand Jury Prize. The pic, starring Kyra Sedgwick, Parker Posey and Fairuza Balk, will be released by United Artists this fall.
Greengrass took top prize at the Berlin fest for “Bloody Sunday,” docu-style account of the infamous clash between British soldiers and Irish protesters in January 1972. Paramount Classics is releasing the pic in the U.S. this fall. Film also took home the World Cinema Award at Sundance this year.
Greengrass will be co-represented by ICM London.
