Brockovich ‘Justice’ on Lifetime

Series to spotlight women who take on the system

Erin Brockovich has pacted with Lifetime TV to host a reality drama series dubbed “Final Justice.” Show, which cabler has granted a minimum 13-seg commitment, is slated to air in first quarter 2003.

Series will present true accounts of real-life women who encounter injustice and decide to take on the system.

” ‘Final Justice’ is truly a reflection of Erin’s tenacity and strength of spirit,” said Bill Brand, Lifetime senior veep of reality programming. “Erin has walked in these women’s shoes and embodies the belief that one woman can make a difference in this world.”Brockovich is no stranger to fighting the system and overcoming enormous barriers. Her real-life experience taking on a large corporation to protect a small town inspired Steven Soderbergh’s “Erin Brockovich.”

“Justice” will be produced by LMNO Cable Group. Eric Schotz, Bill Paolantonio and Kathy Williamson will exec produce. Ruth Rivin is co-executive producer.

“I am so happy that Lifetime is celebrating the accomplishments of these brave women,” said Brockovich. “These true stories need to be shared, and I know that ‘Final Justice’ will be an inspiration for all women to make a difference in their communities.”
