Vin Di Bona shuffles exex

Forman, Maddern tapped as part of restructure

Vin Di Bona Prods., which produces “America’s Funniest Home Videos” for ABC, has tapped Michael Forman and Darren Maddern as prexy of development and senior VP of development, respectively.

Hires are part of a restructuring at the company meant to help facilitate development of programming geared toward a young, edgy audience, according to an announcement issued Friday.

Also as part of the restructuring, Terry Moore has been upped at Vin Di Bona from exec VP of international to prexy of production and acquisitions, and Scott Jackson joined the company as manager of development. Jackson had been a coordinator at William Morris Agency.

Forman joins Vin Di Bona from UPN, where he was senior VP of programming, heading development of reality, specials and late night projects. Prior to his work at UPN, he held posts as VP of primetime series at NBC and as director of TV at Brillstein-Grey communications.

Maddern joins from UPN as well, where he had served as director of reality and specials. He also held posts at CBS and E! Entertainment Television.
