Van Allen upped at Fox

Vet to increase publicity efforts for expanded station

In light of the expansion of the Fox Station Group, following the group’s acquisition of the Chris Craft TV stations, Fox media relations exec Ivey Van Allen has been upped.

Van Allen, who already oversees media relations for Fox syndie arm Twentieth Television as VP, will add oversight of both corporate and local market publicity efforts for the expanded station group to her duties.

She will continue to be responsible for all corporate and entertainment publicity efforts for Twentieth Television, including publicity for the company’s firstrun programming. Among Twentieth’s shows are the new syndie strip “Texas Justice,” as well as “Power of Attorney” and “Divorce Court.” The stream of off-network Fox properties, such as “King of the Hill,” “The Practice,” “Ally McBeal” and “Dharma and Greg,” also will continue to fall under Van Allen’s oversight.
