Commercial broadcaster TVNorge is airing the U.S. version of reality show “Temptation Island” to test audience reaction before deciding whether to show the Nordic version.

Two TVNorge executives have quit in protest against the concept and advertisers have been doubtful about it, as have Norwegian candidates for the voyage to “Love Island,” where four couples have their relationships challenged by 26 seductive singles.

“It is good entertainment,” said TVNorge head of information Jens Petter Gjelseth. The Nordic “Temptation Island” has finished shooting on an island near Honduras and is being edited.
