Comedian Will Sasso (“Mad TV”) has sealed a one-year talent holding deal with Touchstone Television and ABC.
Under terms of the six-figure deal, Sasso will produce and star in a half-hour vehicle tailored specifically for him. Manager Danielle Allman is also attached to the project.
Sasso is in his fifth season on “Mad TV,” in which he’s played a wide variety of characters including Kenny Rogers, Randy Newman and Steven Seagal.
The actor will next be seen in the feature “Dawg” opposite Denis Leary and Elizabeth Hurley. On the TV side, Sasso’s credits include a guest stint on “The X-Files” as well as recurring roles on “Sliders” and “Neon Rider.”
Sasso’s deal was negotiated by Allman at InnerAct Entertainment and by attorney Patti Felker.
