Mexican scribe school to bow

World Brief

TV and film producer Argos is launching a scripters’ school to match its recently founded drama college.

The Training Center for Writers in Mexico City will open Sept. 24 with a quartet of four-week courses covering creativity, documentary writing and penning telenovelas.

Argos, which produced some of TV Azteca’s most popular sudsers until the pair split earlier this year, now runs its own pay TV station, Zoom TV.
