ITV Digital reviews pricey soccer pact

Troubled terrestrial pay TV platform ITV Digital is reportedly reviewing its £315 million ($458 million) soccer rights deal with the U.K.’s Football League.

The 72 clubs of the league — which rank below the Premier League, the top level of British soccer — are still due to receive $220 million for the second and third years of their contract with ITV Digital.

Co-owners Carlton Communications and Granada Media are seeking an outside investor for ITV Digital, and may even shutter the platform.
