Scott Grogin has joined Fox Broadcasting as vice president of publicity and corporate communications.
Grogin moves to Fox from the Universal Studios Recreation Group, where he served as director of publicity and public relations. At Fox, Grogin will oversee business and communications strategies and act as the network’s primary West Coast contact for business and trade press.
Grogin reports to Christina Kounelias, senior veepee of publicity and corporate communications.
Grogin has a “proven track record as a communications executive and a strong background in network television,” Kounelias said.
Grogin’s resume also includes a long stint at NBC Entertainment as a senior publicist. While at the Peacock, the exec handled series and longform programming publicity.
From NBC, Grogin moved to U, where he oversaw publicity for the studio’s theme park properties, including Universal Studios Orlando (including Islands of Adventure), Universal Studios Hollywood and parks in Spain, China and Japan.
Grogin also served as a senior publicist in the TV department at Rachel McCallister & Associates.
