Gotham stations prep for gamer changes

FremantleMedia to juggle 'Feud,' 'Truth,' 'Sharks'

FremantleMedia’s trio of syndie gamers, “Family Feud,” “To Tell the Truth” and “Card Sharks,” are receiving time-period upgrades and/or station changes in Gotham, while format changes are also under way on “Truth.”

Effective Oct. 29, “Family Feud” will move from Fox-owned UPN affil WWOR New York, where it airs at noon and 12:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, to its sister station in the market, Fox O&O WNYW, at 2 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Frosh strip “Card Sharks” will move from 11 a.m. to noon on WWOR, and “Truth” will shift from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on WWOR.

Also starting Oct. 29, permanent format changes to “Truth” include a quicker pace, partly due to the presentation of the affidavit — which describes the life, activities and unique experiences of the person who all three contestants claim to be — earlier in the episode. Jackee Harry, Brad Sherwood and comic Ant will join regular panelist Meshach Taylor for the November sweeps.
